The Port of Doëlan

A typical port from our Naéco accommodations: Le Pouldu, Audierne and Erdeven

A jewel in South Finistère

The port of Doëlan, typical of Breton landscapes, is located at Clohars-Carnoët.

As if conjured out of our imaginations when we think of Brittany, this haven of peace features pretty stone houses set in tiers on the banks, witness to a ballet of fishing boats, guarded by two striped lighthouses, photographers' favorites.

Daily life in the port of Doëlan

The «Le Rigolo» sailing dinghy, an exact copy of a ship fitted out for sardine fishing in 1922, with its 50 m2 mainsail, can be seen alongside.

The port of Doëlan comes alive with the daily sales of the coastal fishermen who catch shrimps, crabs, lobsters, sardines, sea bass or mackerel, depending on the season.

From the port to the beaches of Le Pouldu

From Doëlan, a rocky coastal path leads to the Pouldu. This seaside resort boasts three beaches for the enjoyment of all ages. vacationers and sports enthusiasts. At Le Kérou, you can try your hand at surfing with our partner,ESB Kloar. At Bellangenet, gentle stretches of sand welcome young and old alike. Les Grands Sables, sheltered from the wind, is the perfect place to relax. Le Pouldu also has its own port, anchored in the Laïta estuary. It's a great place (with terraces) to watch the tide turn against the Morbihan dunes.
