Located between the Bay of Audierne and the Pointe du Raz, straddling the communes of Plouhinec andAudierne, until 2018, the Locqueran forest offered a B&B of the Finistère region, which focused on the activities of the hiking.
A new team at the helm of this hiking lodge in Audierne
Since October 1, 2018, a new team has been taking charge of the establishment. Two young associates, regular sportsmen (surfing, cycling, hiking, paddle, martial arts mainly) with a strong sensitivity to environmental issues, are taking up the challenge of taking up the Pied à Terre de Loqueran concept, while modernizing it and adding services, and new sports and leisure activities.
What is Naéco Audierne? What's the difference with Le Pied à Terre de Locquéran?
Naéco (an anagram of ocean, but also a contraction of «nature» and «ecology») is both a hotel-gîte and a campsite, just like before!
The hotel section has been modernized to offer customers greater comfort (flat-screen TV, courtesy tray, new furniture, paintwork, curtains, etc.), while remaining a 2-star establishment with a more or less identical price range. A dormitory with individual lockers has also been created, to provide a standard accommodation offer. youth hostel in Audierne.
The camping section has also been improved, with the addition of new, somewhat unusual types of accommodation: nature lodge tents on wooden floors or wooden teepees... Of course, you can still come and stay in our camping in Audierne with your tent, motorhome or caravan.
Last but not least, the parking area has been redesigned to increase capacity, the communal areas (sanitary facilities, laundry, parking, communal kitchen....) have been embellished and better equipped, and a children's play area has been created to facilitate the arrival of families and young parents.
In terms of activities, the new team is opening up the range of sporting possibilities, hitherto mainly focused on hiking and cycling, to ocean-related sports. A 9-person van has been introduced to take you to the best surfing spots and hiking trails.
